LeSean McCoy is returning to Philadelphia for one last time as an Eagle.
No, he won’t be suiting up in Sunday’s game against his former team, the Kansas City Chiefs, but he will be signing a one-day contract with the team so he can retire as a Philadelphia Eagle on Friday.

McCoy was drafted by Philadelphia in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft and earned three Pro Bowl honors and was a two-time All-Pro with the Eagles.
He led the NFL in rushing yards with 1,607 in 2013 as well as yards from scrimmage with 2,146 that season.

In 2015, McCoy was traded to the Buffalo Bills where he spent the next four seasons and was named to three more Pro Bowls.
In 2019 he reunited with Andy Reid in Kansas City where he appeared in 13 games with the Chiefs and won a Super Bowl — although he was inactive for the actual game.
Last season, McCoy was a member of the Tampa Bay Bucs and won another Super Bowl, although he did not play a snap in the game and only had 10 rushing attempts and 15 receptions for the team during the season.
