And then there were four.
The road to the Super Bowl continues this weekend as the matchups for the AFC and NFC Championship games are set after an exciting divisional round.
To get ready for these two showdowns, our staff has their best bets for you for Chiefs vs. Bills and Commanders vs. Eagles.
Dan Karpuc: Chiefs ML vs. Bills (-130, BetMGM)
It isn’t always pretty, but the Chiefs continue to find ways to win. In search of a three-peat, Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid & Co. will face off against Josh Allen, who has fallen short time after time against the Chiefs in recent years. Back in Week 11, the Bills won this matchup in Buffalo, but under the bright lights at Arrowhead Stadium, there’s no way I can fade KC. Very quietly, the Chiefs have gone eight straight games without committing a single turnover, the longest streak in the Super Bowl era, so even though Allen’s ball control has been a topic of admiration this season, I don’t expect the Chiefs to make mistakes. The Bills will likely have to play close to perfect, out-play and out-coach their opponents.
Lucy Burdge: Commanders +6 vs. Eagles (-110, BetMGM)
The Commanders pulled off an impressive outright win over the Lions to get to this point and I don’t think they’re stopping now when it comes to covering the spread. The Eagles did not cover the seven-point spread against the Rams when they took them down by only six points. And the Commanders are averaging 29 points scored per game, while the Eagles are averaging fewer at 27 points scored per game, so I like the Commanders to cover in this one.

This one is simple. I can’t fade Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid in the postseason. I did it once years ago and I promised myself I’ll never do it again. Josh Allen and the Bills have had an incredible season and Allen has played at an MVP level, but winning in Arrowhead in January is an entirely different beast. Mahomes and the Chiefs will find some way to pull this one out, regardless of how ugly it might look.
