Let's hope there aren't any important Atlanta Falcons reports, rumors or stories today, because the team might not know about it.

March 28, an otherwise insignificant day on the football calendar, is one that Falcons fans probably know all too well, and the team's social media account manager doesn't want to hear about it.

The date, of course, is an unneeded reminder about the score of Super Bowl LI early in the third quarter, when a Matt Ryan touchdown pass to Tevin Coleman and a subsequent Matt Bryant extra point put the Falcons up 28-3 against the Patriots. Or, alternatively, you can say that it was at that moment that the Patriots realized they were down 3-28 — today's date — and decided to do something about it.

So while every non-Atlanta resident on Twitter is enjoying the never-ending troll on this special day, the Falcons are deciding to ignore it all.

Another guy who probably isn't enjoying today's date too much? NBA legend and Hall of Famer Charles Barkley.

There's a chance at (partial) redemption ahead for Atlanta in 2021, however, as the Patriots are slated to play against the Falcons at home in the upcoming season, looking to turn around six straight losses to New England. But even a blowout win — or ten blowout wins, for that matter — will never be enough to make us forget about 28-3 or 3-28, whichever order you prefer.
