The latest College Football Playoff rankings are out, and this week saw a bit of a shakeup.

Two-time reigning national champion Georgia leapfrogged Ohio State into the No. 1 spot of the rankings with two weeks left in the regular season.

But that was about the only thing that changed, at least in terms of teams who can reach the playoff.

Even after going on the road without its head coach and beating a top-10 team, Michigan stayed put at No. 3 in this week’s rankings.

Florida State, Washington, Oregon, Texas and Alabama remained Nos. 4-8, while Missouri and Louisville climbed to round out the top 10.

It remains unclear whether Jim Harbaugh will return to the sidelines before the end of the regular season after being suspended from coaching in the team’s final three games in the midst of the ongoing in-person scouting and sign stealing scandal.

A hearing is scheduled for Friday to determine whether an injunction will be granted to halt the Big Ten’s suspension.

The Wolverines head out on the road again this weekend, taking on Maryland on Saturday at noon.
