The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Saturday morning that Watt has cleared NFL COVID protocol and will be on the field Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens.
Watt clearing protocol means he has provided two consecutive negative tests and Friday and Saturday respectively and can enter the lineup.
Watt was placed in protocol following a negative test on Monday following their loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Since he is a vaccinated player, it is a faster process for Watt to be cleared to return to the lineup.
