Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin has ruled out Kenny Pickett for Saturday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals at Acrisure stadium.

That mean’s Mason Rudolph will be the starter with Mitch Trubisky as backup.

Rudolph got most of the snaps in practice this week.

Pickett was limited for a second straight day on Wednesday.

Tomlin said Thursday’s final practice would be a “big day” to see where he’s at physically.
Obviously, he’s not healthy enough to play.

There was some thought that Pickett may have been able to at least be Rudolph’s backup.

Rudolph came in during the last couple of minutes of Saturday’s 30-13 loss to Indianapolis, his first action since 2021.

He went 2-for-3 for three yards.

Rudolph is 5-4-1 over his career with 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
