Former MLB star pitcher Trevor Bauer has reportedly found a new home.
The 2020 NL Cy Young Award winner has apparently signed on with the Yokohama DeNA BayStars of Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball.

Bauer's new contract is for one year and $4 million, and includes additional performance-based incentives, according to Yuki Yamada of Sankei Sports.
The development comes after the 32-year-old former Diamondbacks, Guardians, Reds and Dodgers pitcher was released by the Dodgers in January and then went unsigned.
Bauer, the third overall draft pick in 2011, last pitched in the big leagues with the Dodgers in June 2021. He was placed on administrative leave and later suspended amid allegations of sexual assault by a woman who claimed that their initially consensual sexual encounters escalated into abuse and humiliation.
Bauer, who starred collegiately at UCLA, maintained his innocence throughout a criminal investigation, which resulted in no charges, and a series of court hearings after the woman applied for an extension of a temporary ex parte restraining order. A judge denied the woman's request on the grounds that Bauer posed no long-term threat to her.
MLB responded to the allegations by handing Bauer a record 324-game suspension, which was later reduced to 194 games on appeal. He sat for roughly half the 2021 season, and all of '22.
The Dodgers opted not to bring back Bauer at the conclusion of his suspension, first designating him for assignment before later giving him his unconditional release.
Bauer has aggressively sought to clear his name in the sexual assault case, filing several defamation lawsuits. At least two -- one against the accuser's attorney and another against the sports site Deadspin -- have been dismissed. Another, against the New York Times-owned sports publication The Athletic and writer Molly Knight, is still active.
