Jeremiah Martin. 15th-Lessing scorer in University of Memphis basketball history and the only Tiger to have scored 40 or more twice in a season. Guy averaged 2.7 ppg his first season. Super impressive, the player he’s become. 43 pts, 8 assists tonight. Program will miss him.

Jeremiah Martin is on some kind of tear. Got 41 at USF earlier this month. Got 43 against Tulane tonight — and made history while doing it. https://t.co/fQtexVCpUH

Martin says Penny was telling him to "Get 40." He had 41 in loss to USF. Couldn't celebrate it in loss.Martin on game tonight (43pts/7rebs/8assts/5steals/1to): "Now since I got 43 and we won, it feels great."One of best individual performances we've ever seen by a Tiger.
