Saturday was a dominate performance for the Memphis Grizzlies who destroyed the Dallas Mavericks 111-81. It certainly was needed, especially with Memphis playing back-to-back road games in Dallas followed by Oklahoma City on Sunday (3/3).
Jonas Valanciunas continued to look like a solid threat for Memphis in the middle with his 20 points and 10 rebounds. Combine JV's play with Joakim Noah off the bench, and the 5-spot seems secured for Memphis. Noah added 12 points and 8 rebounds. Avery Bradley went for 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. In fact all the guards Memphis threw at Dallas worked well, particularly on the defensive side of the ball. CJ Miles played 26 minutes and scored 12 points.
