Despite being a 6 1/2 point underdog the Grizzlies came into the game and overcame a 40-point effort by Devin Booker. The Grizzlies shot 54% led by 30 points from Jonas Valanciunas. Balanced scoring from the rest of the young Grizzlies helped as well with 19 from Dillon Brooks, 15 from Jaren Jackson Jr., 13 from Ja Morant, and 10 from Brandon Clarke and Solomon Hil.
NEXT UP: Memphis travels back home for a nice long 6-game homestand starting Tuesday vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves who have been disappointing so far in the '19-'20 run at 14-21. The Grizzlies now have 15 wins on the season at 15-22.
