Dillon Brooks just got a key to the city of Memphis, and deservedly so. The surprising super-young Grizzlies are back to .500 at 25-25, 8th in the difficult Western Conference Playoff race, Brooks himself has likely played himself into a much larger deal that awaits, and Ja Morant is the likely Rookie of the Year. Morant is hitting the heart button on Brook's comments, posted all over twitter Monday night after the Grizzlies latest victory.

Dillon Brooks reacts to the Andre Iguodala situation just days before Thursday afternoon's trade deadline. "A guy that's on our team but doesn't wanna be on our team. I can't wait until we find a way to trade him so we can play him and show him what really Memphis is about." pic.twitter.com/KR6bGCgtpJ

Your move Andre Iguodala.

If you recall, the rebuilding Golden State Warriors traded their role-playing forward Iguodala to the Grizzlies, who owned a trade exception, as the Grizzlies took on Andre's ridiculous $17-million dollar contract. And now, since he doesn't (and didn't) want to play for the Grizzlies...he sits. Too bad.

The reality is the Grizzlies are bending over backwards (when they don’t have to) for a dude getting $17 million to not play for them. https://t.co/eigABKQciT
