Despite big men Jonas Valanciunas (11-19/25 points/11 rebounds) and Joakim Noah (5-8/16 points/7 rebounds) having solid performances the Grizzlies were doomed by shooting 20% from the 3-point arc.  Final: Cleveland Cavaliers 112 Memphis Grizzlies 107

The Memphis Grizzlies are learning, you can't win if you can't shoot from outside. Saturday night included more terrible shooting in a second game by Chandler Parsons since his return from exile (Parsons finished 1-7 FG/0-4 from 3pt arc).

The Grizzlies have little hope of accumulating wins to convey their top 8 protected draft pick in 2019 to the Boston Celtics. It's looking more and more like they'll make a top 8 pick of some sort, especially with the news of "indefinite" time off for Jaren Jackson Jr.

Here's some notes from the game after a very tough 1st quarter that saw Memphis down 37-24 at that point:

Put a fork in these Grizzlies conveying anything this year except them Jaren Shoot dolls to West Africa. I didn’t think down 18 against Cleveland was still possible in NBA.

The Memphis Grizzlies just gave up 37 points in a quarter to the Cleveland Cavaliers.Memphis may not win another game this season if this is how they're going to play on a nightly basis. They're not good enough to overcome double digit leads consistently.

Also for Memphis Mike Conley seemed to struggle finishing with 18 points in 30 minutes with a rough shooting outing. Kevin Love registered a season-high 32 points for Cleveland in the win.
