Report: All-Pro guard Zack Martin informs Cowboys of decision to retire

Dallas Cowboys All-Pro guard Zack Martin has decided to hang up his cleats after an illustrious 11-year career.

According to sources close to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Martin informed the Cowboys of his plans to retire.

Martin's career included seven first-team and two second-team All-Pro selections. The only times he didn't earn an All-Pro nod were in 2016 and 2024, in what will be his final NFL season.

Martin, 34, missed seven games last season due to ankle and shoulder injuries and didn't look like the future Hall of Famer we've grown accustomed to seeing throughout his career.

Martin will retire as one of the greatest offensive linemen in NFL history. In addition to being a 9-time All-Pro, Martin was a nine-time Pro Bowler and a member of the NFL's 2010 All-Decade Team.

And you can guarantee that his accolades will someday include a Pro Football Hall of Fame induction and a Cowboys Ring of Honor induction.
