Cowboys second-year defensive tackle Mazi Smith has been steadily improving over the last couple of weeks but he had the strongest performance of his young career on Thursday night against the New York Giants, according to 105.3 The Fan's Bryan Broaddus.
"My man played a good game while being nicked up. ... He needs to do that more. He needs to not let pain rule him. ... These last couple of weeks he's had to deal with that. ... He needs some of these deals where he shows up, and it's not perfect, but he fights through it and has a good day," Broaddus said. "He kicked (Giants center) John Michael Smitz's ass last night."
