Cowboys trade for Steelers WR George Pickens

The Dallas Cowboys are adding a dynamic weapon to pair with CeeDee Lamb by acquiring Pittsburgh Steelers' wide receiver George Pickens in exchange for draft compensation, the team announced on Wednesday morning.

105.3 The Fan's Bobby Belt was first to report on the news of a trade.

According to ESPN's Todd Archer, Dallas will send a 2026 third-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick to Pittsburgh for Pickens and a 2027 sixth-round pick.

Pickens, 24, offers quarterback Dak Prescott an additional pass-catching option along with Lamb. Last season, Pickens had 900 receiving yards on 59 catches. He's had no less than 50 catches, 800 yards and three touchdowns in each of his three seasons with the Steelers, who drafted him in the second round in 2022.
