Cowboys reserve offensive lineman Chuma Edoga appears to have escaped a major injury after being forced to leave the team's final practice before heading home to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in the preseason opener on Saturday afternoon at AT&T Stadium.
According to Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News, the Cowboys believe Edoga suffered a right hyperextended knee in 1-on-1 drills.
Edoga played through discomfort throughout practice before being carted off the field.
Edoga had been getting some reps at right guard while All-Pro Zack Martin remains away from the team due to a contract dispute.
