Shan, RJ and Bobby on DaRon Bland's injury: Return timeline, Cowboys CB depth

The Cowboys dropped a bomb on everyone when they announced just hours before the team's preseason finale that All-Pro cornerback DaRon Bland would miss the next 6-8 weeks with a foot injury.

On 105.3 The Fan's pregame show, Cowboys owner and GM Jerry Jones expressed optimism that Bland would only miss the first four or five games.

“I’m glad it’s not for an extended period of time, and so we lose him for four or five games,” Jones said, before underlining that he wasn’t being dismissive of the importance of losing Bland. “It's serious, but the good news is we're going to have him for the meat of the deal. That's the good news.”

Who's on deck to replace Bland while he's out? Shan, RJ and Bobby discussed Bland's injury on Monday's show and discussed the internal candidates to replace him in September, including Jourdan Lewis, Caelen Carson and Andrew Booth Jr.
