Dallas Cowboys owner and GM Jerry Jones gave some insight into the reasoning behind Trevon Diggs' absence from practice this week.
Jones told the K&C Masterpiece on 105.3 The Fan on Friday that Diggs has 'tear in his calf.' Despite the injury, Jones says 'he's not so sure' that Diggs will miss Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Diggs popped up on the injury report this week with a calf injury and missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday.
When asked about his calf injury after Wednesday's practice Diggs said it was sore coming out of Sunday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
“It was a little sore coming out of the game. Probably one of the plays I got hit or something. I’m getting treatment and working through it," Diggs said, via Jon Machota of The Athletic.
Friday's final injury will provide more clarity on his status for Sunday.
