DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys are searching for playmakers in the 2023 NFL Draft later this month, and Texas Longhorns running back Bijan Robinson might be the best one available in the class.

And when asked about Robinson on Tuesday during a visit with the K&C Masterpiece, Cowboys executive vice president was coy about his team's intentions with the running back.

“I’m sure when that first day (of the draft) is over, he’s certainly gonna have a team," Jones said. "And you never know.”

The Cowboys and Robinson have been linked on multiple occasions, and through various mock drafts this offseason. However, there is also the distinct, and more than likely possibility that Robinson will be gone by the time the Cowboys pick comes around at No. 26.

That said, after the loss of Ezekiel Elliott, the Cowboys are in need of offensive playmakers in the running game, and while Tony Pollard has shown flashes of being a star, he has yet to carry a full load in his career.

Robinson, meanwhile, would certainly fit that bill - both as a playmaker and a bell cow back.
