WATCH: Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs, reporter apologize after tense postgame exchange

All is well between Cowboys All-Pro cornerback Trevon Diggs and WFAA sports anchor and reporter Mike Leslie.

The two were seen burying the hatchet in a one-on-one conversation after Wednesday's practice at The Star, and Diggs even brought a gift to Lesley - a can of "Dee's Nuts" - an ode to a comment Diggs made to Lesley during their tense exchange outside of the locker room after Sunday's game in San Francisco.

NFL Network reporter and fill-in host for 105.3 The Fan, Jane Slater, captured pictures of Leslie and Diggs having fun with each other during the cornerback's media availability, as the rest of the beat laughed. The Cowboys posted a video of the exchange later this afternoon.

Diggs offered Leslie a can of ranch-flavored nuts and kept the banana pudding-flavored ones for himself to enjoy.

During his visit with the media, Diggs said he let his emotions get the best of him following the game and apologized to Leslie. Leslie posted on his X account that he and Diggs "have cleared the air."

"He apologized for the hallway incident, and I apologized for misreading the play — he explained that what I interpreted as him jogging was in fact him slow-playing a potential cutback from George Kittle," Leslie wrote.

As for why Diggs wasn't able to practice Wednesday, the cornerback said he was dealing with a tight calf.

“It was a little sore coming out of the game. Probably one of the plays I got hit or something. I’m getting treatment and working through it," Diggs said, via Jon Machota of The Athletic.
