The Grizzlies built an early lead, outscoring the Wizards by ten points in the first quarter and maintaining their control throughout the game. By halftime, they had extended their advantage to 66-49, and the lead only grew from there.
A key highlight of the night was Scotty Pippen Jr. achieving his first career triple-double with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.
