The Memphis Grizzlies blew a 20-point lead to the Chicago Bulls and lost 126-123 on Monday night (10/28) in Memphis at FedExForum. The Bulls were led by Zach Lavine with 30-points and a double-double 12 points and 13 rebounds from Josh Giddey in the win.
Coach Taylor Jenkins blamed the loss on the Grizzlies defense. After the game Jenkins called the Grizzlies defense "atrocious". Jenkins added, "We didn't give one lick about defense and that's a problems for us right now."
Memphis was led in scoring by Desmond Bane with 30 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the 3-point arc. Seven Grizzlies scored in double-figures, with two double-double scorers. Santi Aldama had 11 points and 13 rebounds. Scotty Pippen Jr. had 14 points and 10 assists off the bench for the Grizzlies.
