Memphis, Tenn. – The Memphis Grizzlies today announced the team signed forward Tyler Burton and guard DeJon Jarreau to second 10-day contracts. Per team policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Burton (6-7, 215) has appeared in six games as a reserve and has averaged 8.8 points and 4.3 rebounds in 25.4 minutes for the Grizzlies since signing his first 10-day contract on March 12. The 26-year-old, who went unselected in the 2024 NBA Draft following his final collegiate season at Villanova, started 29 regular season games for the Grizzlies’ NBA G League affiliate, the Memphis Hustle, this season and averaged 20.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.3 steals in 34.1 minutes.
Jarreau (6-5, 185) has played five games off the bench and has averaged 6.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 21.3 minutes for the Grizzlies since signing his first 10-day contract on March 13. The 28-year-old, currently in his third NBA season after going unselected in the 2021 NBA Draft out of Houston, also played 19 regular season games (seven starts) for the Hustle this season and averaged 15.2 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists in 22.7 minutes.
