The Mavericks, dealing with injuries, including the season-long absence of star guard Kyrie Irving due to a back injury, saw a career-high performance from Brandon Williams, who scored 31 points. Naji Marshall added a double-double with 29 points and 17 rebounds. Caleb Martin made his season debut for Dallas after recovering from a hip injury.
