Wednesday night was another tough evening for the Memphis Grizzlies on the road in Cleveland. Memphis lost 110-98 as they head towards the Tankathon.com #7 slot in the 2024 NBA Draft Lottery (link). Yes Memphis' losing could pay off in the form of a Top 4 pick in the 2024 NBA Lottery. Tankathon lists the Grizzlies Top 4 odds at 32%. That's the good news.

The other good news could be the development and discovery of rotation level players like GG Jackson and Vince Williams. Wednesday might be a positive sign of even more in the form of 1st round pick Jake LaRavia. LaRavia has struggled for most of last season, and parts of this season. But LaRavia's 32 point career high on Wednesday night seems to be part of a more recent trend upward. LaRavia has averaged 12.3 points and 3.9 rebounds per game in his last 10 games.

Memphis held back most of their significant players Wednesday focusing on a rare 8-man Grizzly rotation, leading to just six total bench points. GG Jackson started and added 22 points for the Grizzlies.

Donovan Mitchell led the Cavaliers with 29 points and 8 assists.
