The Memphis Grizzlies did all they could without Desmond Bane and Ja Morant, but fell short against the Lakers and another King-style triple-double performance from Lebron James. Final: Lakers 128 Grizzlies 123

James delivered 34 points, 11 rebounds, and 14 assists on the night. The game saw several lead changes in the fourth quarter, with the Grizzlies briefly pulling ahead before the Lakers regained control. Anthony Davis also made a significant contribution, hitting a career milestone with 18,000 points.

The game featured one of the best games of Dalton Knecht's young career as the rookie scored 19 points (+17) on the night.

The Grizzlies were led in scoring by Jaren Jackson Jr. with 29 points on the night.
