On Tuesday (4/22) the Memphis Grizzlies fell 118–99 to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 2 of their Western Conference first-round playoff series, giving the Thunder a 2–0 lead. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led Oklahoma City with 27 points, while Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren contributed 24 and 20 points, respectively. Holmgren also added 11 rebounds and five blocks.

The Thunder capitalized on 15 Memphis turnovers, converting them into 25 points, and dominated the fast-break game. The Grizzlies briefly narrowed a 23-point deficit to eight in the third quarter, led by Jaren Jackson Jr.'s 26 points and Ja Morant’s 23, but Oklahoma City responded with a strong fourth-quarter start, effectively sealing the win. The series now shifts to Memphis for Game 3 on Thursday (4/24).
