Jalen Green's 42 point night secures the win for the Rockets over the Grizzlies Monday night

The Houston Rockets edged the Memphis Grizzlies 120-118 at the Toyota Center on Monday night (1/13). Jalen Green led Houston with an impressive 42 points, shooting 5-of-6 from beyond the arc and adding four assists. Rookie Amen Thompson contributed significantly with 19 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, and five blocks.

For Memphis, Ja Morant scored 29 points, though he struggled from three-point range, hitting 4-of-11, and committed seven turnovers. Desmond Bane added 25 points, connecting on 4-of-5 three-pointers. The Rockets overcame a seven-point deficit after the first quarter, outscoring the Grizzlies 33-26 in the final period to secure the victory.
