The Memphis Grizzlies opened Las Vegas 2024 Summer League action without Zach Edey still showing off the strength of their young stars blasting the Sacramento Kings 103-83 inside of Cox Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. All five Grizzlies starters except for 2-way center Trey Jemison scored in double-figures. But Jemison's big-body fit in nicely (+19) as he secured 8 points and 8 rebounds in 29 minutes.

Potential key regular season rotation pieces GG Jackson and Jake LaRavia certainly "looked the part" scoring 17 and 22 respectively. GG finished 3-of-8 from the 3-point arc while LaRavia was 2-of-6 from long distance.
But it was rookie Cam Spencer once again playing within the Grizzlies system, not trying to do too much (+12), with a line of 15 points, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds with just one turnover. Spencer was 3-of-5 from the 3-point arc including this solid transition bucket.
