AUDIO: Jason & John reviewed the circumstances behind PJ Haggerty leaving for Kansas State on Tuesday's (5/27) J&J Show on 92.9 FM ESPN.
PJ Haggerty, a standout 6-foot-3 guard, has committed to Kansas State, marking his fourth college team in as many seasons. Haggerty, 21, previously played for TCU, Tulsa, and most recently Memphis, where he earned second-team All-American honors and was named the American Athletic Conference Player of the Year for the 2024-25 season. Full coverage of Haggerty's move and the Memphis Tigers all week on 92.9 FM ESPN.

At Memphis, he led the league with 21.7 points per game and contributed 5.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.8 steals over 35 starts, helping the Tigers win the AAC title and secure a No. 5 seed in the NCAA Tournament, though they lost in the first round to Colorado State. Seeking a lucrative NIL deal and assurance of a starting role, Haggerty withdrew from NBA Draft consideration to join the Wildcats. Kansas State, led by third-year coach Jerome Tang, finished with a 16-17 record last season.
On Sunday Field of 68's Jeff Goodman reported that Haggerty likely overplayed his hand getting nowhere near the $4-Million Dollar asking price.
