Jason & John with Upadhyaya: Tigers add transfers Bradshaw & McDaniel
The Memphis Tigers are making significant moves in the 2025 transfer portal, notably with the addition of 7-foot-1 center Aaron Bradshaw. Previously at Kentucky and Ohio State, Bradshaw brings size and defensive prowess to Memphis. Despite limited playing time due to injury, he showcased potential with a double-double against Penn. His ability to protect the rim and stretch the floor adds versatility to the Tigers' frontcourt. Jason & John discussed the portal work by the Tigers with Parth Upadhyaya from the Daily Memphian on Friday (4/25).

Memphis also looks like the likely landing spot for Kansas State transfer Dug McDaniel, a dynamic 5'11" point guard. Last year he average over 11 points for Kansas State. Prior to K-State, McDaniel averaged 16.3 points and 4.7 assists per game, leading the Michigan Wolverines in multiple categories. Known for his speed and shot-creating ability, he could fill the void left by departing guard Jahvon Quinerly. McDaniel's recruitment is competitive, with Georgetown and Maryland also in pursuit.
These strategic additions aim to bolster Memphis's roster, combining size and playmaking to enhance their competitiveness in the upcoming season.
