
Haggerty Nabs Seventh AAC Weekly Honor
IRVING, Texas – University of Memphis Tiger PJ Haggerty has been named to the American Athletic Conference's Honorable Mention list, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
It is his fourth honorable mention of the season and his eighth weekly honor overall.
Haggerty led the Tigers to the 2024-25 American Athletic Conference regular season championship after a 2-0 week on the court, where he averaged 19.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game while shooting 40.0 percent from the floor and 87.0 percent from the free throw line (20-23).
The Crosby, Texas native dropped 18 points, six rebounds and three assists in 38 minutes on the road Tuesday in a 75-70 win over UTSA. The sophomore guard shot 12-of-13 at the free throw line, matching his season high in makes.
Haggerty then turned in 20 points, eight boards and five dimes Friday night in an 84-68 victory over South Florida in the regular season finale.

The Tigers head to Fort Worth, Texas, for the AAC Tournament at Dickies Arena this week. Memphis won't play until the quarterfinals on Friday, March 14 with a noon tipoff against the winner of the No. 8 Wichita State and No. 9 South Florida.
