The University of Memphis will make history soon after buying Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium and it's making a splash for a non-football related event.
Memphis will bring singer/songwriter Chris Brown to Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium for the "Breezy Bowl XX" tour on October 18th, 2025. Brown will be joined by Jhené Aiko and Bryson Tiller. The last major concert at the (then named) Liberty Bowl was U2 in 1997.
