92.9 FM ESPN: Memphis Grizzlies vs. Portland Trail Blazers Friday night at 9:00 p.m. / pregame at 8:30 p.m.

No JJJ, No Konchar, No Williams, No Landale… ONE JEROME.

Short-handed but undeterred, the Memphis Grizzlies rode Ty Jerome’s breakout performance to a 129-125 win over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night at Golden 1 Center. Jerome led Memphis with 28 points on an efficient 10-of-14 shooting, including 3-of-4 from beyond the arc, while adding seven assists to orchestrate the offense.

The Grizzlies received balanced scoring behind Jerome. Cam Spencer scored 20 points and delivered three clutch baskets in the final minutes to secure the victory, including a late three-pointer that restored a four-point lead with 18 seconds remaining. GG Jackson added 16 points and seven rebounds, while Jaylen Wells chipped in 18 points, hitting six three-pointers.

Memphis surged late, outscoring Sacramento 40-34 in the fourth quarter. The Grizzlies shot 50 percent from the field and knocked down 18 three-pointers, helping offset the Kings’ rebounding advantage.

Domantas Sabonis paced Sacramento with 24 points and 15 rebounds, but the loss extended the Kings’ losing streak to 10 games.
