This weekend in SEC football saw some significant upsets, with the most notable being Florida's 24-17 victory over No. 9 Ole Miss. Ole Miss, aiming to solidify its College Football Playoff hopes, struggled in critical moments, going 0-for-3 in red-zone opportunities and turning the ball over three times, including twice on its final drives. Florida's Montrell Johnson played a key role, rushing for 107 yards and the game-winning touchdown, while the Gators' defense capitalized on Ole Miss' mistakes to secure the upset. Johnson finished the game averaging 5.9 yards in Florida's upset victory.

Another surprising result came from Auburn's dramatic 43-41 win in quadruple overtime against No. 15 Texas A&M. Auburn, despite a challenging season, delivered a resilient performance to topple the Aggies in an intense one that also shakes up the College Football Playoff. A&M next has to play Texas.

Alabama suffered a rare and decisive defeat to Oklahoma, losing 24-3 in Norman. The Crimson Tide's offense, usually one of the nation's most potent, was stymied by a dominant Oklahoma defense that pressured quarterback Jalen Milroe throughout the game. Alabama managed only a field goal, failing to generate sustained drives or capitalize on key opportunities. The Sooners, led by a balanced attack, controlled the tempo, keeping Alabama's defense on the field and methodically building their lead. This loss marked a significant setback for Alabama's postseason aspirations in the CFP, especially considering how poorly their offensive line played.
