The NL team will have eight-fan selected starters (nine for AL), that will be determined by two rounds of voting. The first takes place now until June 24, then the top three players at each position will advance to the next round, which will determine the starter. That voting round runs from June 28 to July 1.

The pitchers and reserves for both teams will be determined through a combination of "Player Ballot" choices and selections made by the Commissioner’s Office.

The NL All-Star Team, which will be managed for a third consecutive time by Dave Roberts of the defending World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodgers, while the AL team is led by Kevin Cash of the defending AL Champion Tampa Bay Rays. MLB has once again teamed up with Google to give fans another easy way to vote just by searching for “MLB All-Star vote” or the names of their favorite players.
