Florida took advantage of poor quarterback play by Joe Milton and upset #11 Tennessee on 92.9 FM ESPN Saturday night in the Swamp 29-16.

Elsewhere around the SEC Georgia got it together to beat South Carolina in Athens 24-14, LSU beat up Mississippi State 41-14 behind another terrific performance by Jayden Daniels, Texas A&M destroyed UL Monroe 47-3, Auburn beat Samford 45-13, UNLV fought back to beat Vanderbilt on the road in Vegas at Allegiant Stadium, and BYU beat Arkansas 38-31. Also, Kentucky beat Akron 35-3, Ole Miss turned it on in the second half to beat Georgia Tech 48-23, and it was a dicey performance for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide in Tampa. Alabama finally just decided to run the ball for consistency and held on beating South Florida 17-3.

Missouri upset #15 Kansas State 30-27 setting up a battle of unbeaten teams next Saturday (9/23) between Memphis and Mizzou. The game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on ESPNU at the Edward Jones Dome (Dome at America's Center). Full coverage all week on 92.9 FM ESPN, Memphis' Sports Station.
