While watching the Home Run Derby, Jon Chuckery had a revelation.
When Acuña has been batting in the leadoff spot, he has been batting .301 and has an .380 on-base percentage with 14 HRs. He also has 13 stolen bases. Acuña can play great defense, with the ability to play left and center field.
So the question that Chuckery posses: Is there a better player in the MLB to start your franchise with than Ronald Acuña Jr?
The only person that Chuckery would say that he would chose is Mike Trout. Other than that, at 21, Acuña is the guy.
