In early June the Braves traded for pitcher Anthony Swarzak with an ERA of 5.27 and to many fans this didn't seem like it ws going to be a great fit.
Since then Swarzak hasn't given up a run in ten appearances and has compiled eight saves. Was it a tweek by the Braves' coaching staff? Warmer temperatures? Is the Braves' clubhouse that much more of a confidence-inspiring atmosphere than the Mariners? We may never know, but sometimes all a human being needs is a change of scenery to turn their life around.
Chris Goforth and Harper LeBel expand on Swarzak's performance and discuss a certain young Braves pitcher that should be in the Cy Young conversation.
