Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Mike Soroka had a strong outing in a 3-1 win over the San Diego Padres on Monday. Ozzie Albies also continued to be productive from the lead-off spot adding his sixth home run of the season. But it was the Braves bullpen that seemingly looked put together in the victory.

With one day of the evaluation period to go, FOX Sports South analyst Brian Jordan has optimism for the bullpen moving forward.
"Things are coming together, how about that?" Jordan said. "The bullpen looked great last night...Blevins comes in, throws three pitches to the lefty, Eric Hosmer; gets him out. And how about Webb? Webb just gets it done to close the ballgame."
The Braves acquired veteran reliever Jerry Blevins from the Oakland A's on Sunday. While the addition of Blevins has shown some early improvement, Jordan believes more moves will be made to solidify the bullpen.
"(The Braves) had a chance to evaluate a lot of these young guys and see who's going to stick and who's not going to stick," Jordan said. "I would not be surprised if we see some moves made in the next couple of weeks."
Now that the evaluation period is over, the Braves have a good idea of what they have in their pitching arsenal.
"We know that the young pitchers are not quite ready," Jordan said. "That was a good thing to see early in the season. A lot of them showed some potential. We know what we have now. We know what guys we're not going to rely on."
"We know now that we have to address that bullpen. We can't continue to try to patch-tape it together, using the young guys...it's time to use those veterans now."
