Falcons Linebacker De’Vondre Campbell joined Dave Archer on the Dan Quinn coaches show.
Campbell said that all the team can do is fight back after the 1-3 start.
“We understand where we are as a team, we’re 1-3 the record speaks for itself.” Campbell said “We understand that we definitely are a better team than our record indicates but the facts are the facts, the only thing we can do at this point is just fight back. That’s just the first quarter of football, we stil have a lot of football left, we understand that every mistake at this point is critical, and we really can’t afford to play any more games like we’ve had in this recent stretch, we have to get the mistakes corrected and we have to do it now.”
De’Vondre talked about some things that the team has to get better at as a team.
“We’ll have a really good stretch of football and then we’ll make a mistake and it will be a big mistake that’ll result in a touchdown and you just can’t have moments like that in the NFL.” Campbell said “Because every play counts, it’s a game of inches and when you make mistakes that result in touchdowns it’s really hard to recover from it.”
