The Atlanta Falcons announced on Monday that they had fired all three coordinators: Steve Sarkisian, Marquand Manuel and Keith Armstrong. But maybe the biggest announcement was head coach Dan Quinn saying he would "assume the responsibility of defensive coordinator."
The Morning Show discussed whether adding more responsibilities to his head coaching duties was a good idea or not.
"If anybody that knows his players and can put them in position to be successful, it would have to be him," Hugh said.
And John agreed: "If you're one of the better defensive coordinators in the NFL, and he is, why wouldn't you do it? One of the knocks against Dan Quinn has always been that he's not a very good game manager. Maybe this means he more attune; maybe this is a thing that would actually help him be a better game manager."
Great idea!!!Hes a great DC..
— keith wehunt (@KeithWehunt) January 2, 2019It’s a bad idea. He already has a hard time with in game decisions now. He doesn’t know how to run a game.
