UGA legend Vince Dooley joined Dukes & Bell to talk about the Dawgs, and could this be Kirby Smart’s best team yet?

Dooley talked about being honored last week.

“It was a great day.” Dooley said “It was a great day for the family, they were all out there, but it was a strange day for me because they would play a video and people would clap, and then someone would speak and people would clap, so it was weird for me because you don’t clap for yourself. The last time I remember it being this hot was when we played the first three games in 1980, up in Tennessee, Texas A&M, Clemson in Athens so maybe it’s a good omen.”

Coach said this is Kirby’s best team.

“What’s jumped out to me is what jumped out to me this spring.” Dooley said “Which is this is Kirby’s best team, you have to stay clean of injuries, got to play hard for sixty minutes, the balls got to bounce right, and if they do you’ll be in the championship and if you’re in the championship you’ve got a chance. So this is the best team and what is the strength is that offensive line, and it showed up at Vanderbilt, and Fromm is the leader he is, he’s a winner but it’s all got to fall in place but there’s no doubt personnel wise this is Kirby’s best team.”
