The Georgia Bulldogs have put two fall practices in the books as they begin tuning up for the start of the 2025 season and while expectations of Gunner Stockton, assuming he will be named the starting quarterback, are to lead the Bulldogs back to, Dawg Nation's Mike Griffith, shared why he believes Georgia will need one specific defensive group to have to have a successful season.

"Stopping the run needs to be the strength. I'd say the front seven needs to be the strength," Griffith said as he explained to 92-9 The Game's Carl Dukes and Mike Bell why he believes the Bulldogs will have to rely on their defensive linemen and linebackers to be effective in stopping opponents in their rush attacks.

"You feel like the defensive line could be hungrier, quicker, you know the linebacking core is ridiculously talented and deep," Griffith continued as he shared thoughts on multiple Georgia players he believes will have major roles on the Bulldogs' defense.

"I think defensively, this defense is at least as good as 2022 in my opinion," Griffith added as he told Dukes and Bell he has confidence in the talent level on Georgia's defense being able to produce at the level of thew 2022 national championship team, which allowed just 77.1 rushing yards per game.
