Former NFL Tight End Jermichael Finley joined Rick and John on Radio Row at Super Bowl 53. Finley kicked off the interview talking about how it's OK to talk about mental illness and how Alpha males have issues admitting that something is wrong with themselves. Finley admitted that he even had issues initially going to the doctor. Finley talked about the end of his career and how blessed to be above ground and able to take care of his family.
Finley was then asked about playing with Aaron Rodgers, "You can't stop running routes when playing with Aaron Rodgers," Finley said he would put Rodgers in the top ten of quarterbacks. Finely then said, "He thought Rodgers failed the team because he reverted to the his selfish version of himself."
Finley said he was, "Shocked and disappointed to see Mike McCarthy become the fall guy for the Packers season." Finley agreed with Rick Kamla that Aaron Rodgers let go of the rope during the season when things went wrong for the Packers.
Finley then went on to talk about his alma mater, the Texas Longhorns, and their victory over the Georgia Bulldogs in the Sugar Bowl.
