Rick and John debate if the Braves bringing Nick Markakis back was a good or bad idea. Rick is not impressed because he feels like the Braves proved they are not going to spend money on the outfield and just settled with Markakis. John starts looking at the money they have allocated to spend on players and Alex Anthopolous has said the Braves will spend money, but its not on the outfield. John questions where you put someone like Camargo, if he is just a utility guy now that gets maybe 70 games. However, John thinks the Braves have the money to spend and will make another move before the start of the 2019 Season.
Rick disagrees and thinks the Braves are done spending money and what we have now is what the team will look like come Opening Day. Rick thinks we desperately need to sign at least one more reliever and Kimbrel is going to resign with the Red Sox. However, Rick put out a Twitter Poll and most fans think the team is going to still make another move. John is disappointed that the Braves will not deliver what they promised in the off season by bringing in a big name, but Rick says the team has become a lot deeper on the bench.
