The Atlanta Braves entered the halfway point of the Major League Baseball season with a 48-33 record and a 5 1/2-game lead in the NL East.

What would you say was the thing that impressed you the most in the first-half of the season for the Braves?

"With the revolving door as far as relief pitching, starting pitching; how this team as found ways to win," Randy McMichael said.

Atlanta's pitching landscape looks completely different than what it was when the season started. Most recently, Mike Foltynewicz, who was expected to be the Braves No. 1, being optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett. Sean Newcomb also spent time down in the minor league and Kevin Gausman being placed on the injured list. Both were also starters at the beginning of the season.

"And yet, they're still finding ways to win," McMichael continued. "I didn't know how good this lineup would be. I knew they would be special but I didn't think they'd be like this."
