Atlanta United Color Analyst Jason Longshore joined Jon Chuckery to recap yesterday’s 2-0 loss at Columbus Crew and preview The 5 Stripes upcoming matches.

Longshore on the weather last night, “It’s the worst weather match I have ever been involved in, that includes coaching, playing and commentating. You couldn’t play in these conditions. The game in Louisville, not too far away, was postponed until today. The second half was a joke; it was embarrassing for the league.”

Longshore on United’s lack of scoring, “The problem is now you are actually creating chances and you weren’t before. Go back and look at the two best chances they had last night on either end of the lighting delay. My issue last night was you knew you were coming out to play in bad weather and weren’t ready to go.”

Longshore on the upcoming games, “New England seems like a tipping point. Atlanta United has not been in this situation before. If they don’t play well in New England the following game at home will be a weird atmosphere.”
