The Falcons defense has been a lot better since the bye week and one of the main reasons has been the play of linebacker De’Vondre Campbell. Dukes & Bell talked about the play of Campbell, and will he be with the Falcons in 2020?

Carl said that Campbell doesn’t get the credit he deserves.

“A guy that’s not getting a lot of credit who deserves it. It’s going to be an interesting decision this offseason,” Dukes said. “He’s been a force, guy had 11 tackles against the 49ers. He played strong safety, linebacker and defensive end. He was all over the field. He had a forced fumble and recovered one. This guys is now in the last year of his rookie deal and he was a part of that 2016 class.”

Will thinks Campbell could be this team’s defensive MVP.

“With these air raid offenses in the NFL you need these guys who can play hybrid positions,” Palaszczuk said. “We were talking about this over the weekend, kinda who if you had to pick an MVP for this season for the Atlanta Falcons. That name was brought up, and I feel like he hasn’t gotten near enough credit.”
