Austin Riley was named NL Player of the Week on Monday for the first time in his career after rattling off six home runs, four doubles and 11 RBIs.

The Atlanta Braves' third baseman is currently on an 8-game hitting streak and getting hotter after a rough start.

Gabe Burns, who covers the Braves for the AJC, joined Andy and Randy on Tuesday and said Riley has entered the All-Star conversation.

"He has been (the Braves) best player. He's been their most consistent, honestly, overall in the last month," Burns said. "It's been really big for him. It's been really big for this offense that's desperately needed somebody like that; to just catch fire."

"You're seeing a guy who--I mean if he keeps this up, he's going to be in the All-Star conversation which is pretty crazy when you look back at his first 13, 15 games this season when he was really struggling...It's been a great turnaround for him."

Riley is the second Braves player this season to receive the honor. Ronald Acuna Jr. was honored back in April.
